I respect your opinion on this. However, Jiang knew Zishu didn't like pain, that's what he looked for in his "extracurricular partners" - that they could have rough sex. Chen could have left early on, He wasn't as heavily invested as Zishu was. Zishu wasn't young anymore, and comparing the years both he and JW had spent together - Chen could always start over. Chen surely knew his boss' reputation - he had a choice to leave and could start over again. He chose to stay in hopes to keep JW. He was proud and selfish - similar to JW.
