i have to admit that i enjoyed reading this comic and thought the story and characters were cute, but please please please if you think in the slightest that this is a healthy or accurate representation of 3p relationships: it’s not

tbh haesoo’s relationship with taekyung feels really empty because from the start their feelings weren’t 100% genuine, at least from my perspective. there doesn’t seem to be that much of an emotional connection.
i have to admit that haesoo and joowon love each other and in an ideal world they would be together, but circumstances (the fact that they’re former stepbrothers) and the fact that none of them are honest about their feelings makes their relationship pretty toxic too. though they both care for each other, it feels like they’re playing each other or using each other. especially haesoo, he seems to believe that joowon’s feelings for him are superficial, so he tries to keep an emotional distance and shut himself off. imo joowon took haesoo for granted and came to him without much care for haesoo’s feelings, leading to haesoo trying to protect himself by being aloof and distant. so yeah, their relationship is fucked up there too.
in the end i just want them all to be happy and work things out amongst themselves, and i don’t think an “endgame” is the best way for that. haesoo and joowon might be able to make it through with LOTS of communication and counseling, but i just really want to see them thrive, romantically involved or not

i feel like the archer and blond guy pairing is ehh. like i enjoy their chemistry alone (i’m a sucker for their ship dynamic) but i feel like the backstory was too much. like the resolution was wayyy too rushed for such a deep backstory, you know? it would’ve been better if it was revealed that archer guy is the same kid that the blond dude bullied for being fat, so that the blond dude could learn his mistakes and develop, and the archer dude can come to terms with his trauma/insecurities.
before the extras, we left off with the archer dude feeling like shit and then blond dude CHEATS ON HIM LIKE WHAT THE HELLBDHSJSJ?!??? no matter what i think he should’ve dumped him right then and there tbh. his “justification” and apology for cheating were shit too, like okay and???? give us more than the bare minimum PLEASE. archer guy’s loss for not going with chili pepper tbh
i guess it’s sweet that in the end he accepts archer dude regardless of body type, i just want to see blond dude become not a jackass by addressing how he basically traumatized archer guy NSJSKS
i agree!!!! though i also think that the author shouldve make those things appear on the manhwa, i dont think its gonna happen bc just like the other pairings,, we didnt get a lot of scenes with them (pretty rushed and not resolved) i feel like the author made that special chap to let us know that they got their happy ending and seeing that theyre already old and still happy they mustve resolved their issues by then (i really hope so).
im not justifying his actions bc hes already an adult w a fully working mind but heeno is pretty and a pretty STUPID teenager. its such a shame that we didnt get more of their chapters but i feel like if they start to be more open and talk things out then he would try to be as decent as possible for him.
as for mr. chilli pepper guy,, thats what i feel too until that panel where aerak said that heeno and him are the same because he liked heeno's looks first. i dont fully support that kind of affection but it really happens irl and its ok as long as they can learn more things about the person theyre inlove with and still be inlove with them no matter what flaw they have.
