To say how I feel about the story is hard, seeing the mixed reactions everyone had and the fact I’m bad at putting things into words in the first place, because I feel like it’ll come across the wrong way. But I want to try and share what I think and hope it goes well. The story was royally fucked up. However, it was interesting to an extent. Psychological borderline fucked up romance isn’t my cup of tea, but it was an experience to see a cycle of grooming happen and how it happens. From seeing how it went as Yui went through his life, to Kei’s past reflecting on what he’s done now, and more all wrapped up into something whimsical but also sickening. After the story however, i have a thought that’s bugging me still, I feel as they couldve censored the sexual bits while Yui was young (child and high school) much better. Yes it gives a better effect of what’s going on and how bad it was, but still unnecessarily explicit. It made me feel shitty to have to sit through and read those parts. Anyways, I’d have to say while it can be seen as intriguing, it’s definitely not made for anyone, and people should definitely look into this before reading.
I should also add before I wake up tomorrow with a bunch of people angry at me, I personally didn’t like how the victim ended up with the groomer at the end, it was disgusting to see. And no, I don’t justify any actions in the story done by any of the parties— this is just my take on it from a psychological manga standpoint. Like I said I’m garbage at putting what I want to say into words (and was even more difficult with such a heavy story) so please don’t hurt me too much for this

Ikr? It's such good character design that they're so easily recognizable even just as sticks. I love it. It's nice to see the height differences lined up clearly too. That's such a hilarious detail to add to the scene and it fills me with joy. (⌒▽⌒)
