This is the problem with sheltering bc he doesn't understand that following his father is running away from what he should actually do. He should've started planning a coup with the knights he'd grown up with and attempted the the plan he told his Mom. Idk anything that's not listening to his crazy dad. Even prolonging his travel to whisper about the king being crazy bc of syphilis would've been better than going to marry Bloody Mary
