Ikr. But the story is really good i ended up spending just to know what’s going to happen that’s not in the manhwa yet. The novel also gives more details on their thoughts or scenarios that the manhwa just quickly goes over with. For example they have these silly banters whose essence is not fully captured in the manhwa
How do you interpret the ending guys? Why was Clark glad that the inspector wasn't in love with him? Did Clark unalive himself in the ending? Or was he just tired of dealing with any kind of romantic feelings?
Clark was glad that the inspector wasn't in love with him because Clark is simply not someone/a man you can live in. He isn't a decent human, let alone a lover. He can't be fixed; he's himself a sociopath with enough morals and ethics to not kill innocent people, but he can't feel empathy and is very manipulative.
Clark's someone who being a miseryand loneliness to others. His lovers left him because he's unable to love people.
He didn't unlive himself.
There is no romance or genuine love in this webtoon. It's mostly desire of control and lust
I disagree. There is genuine romance. Clark lost the only person he ever loved. He loved them so much that he killed their murderer out of revenge. He would never have behaved like that. Not even to save his own life.
That is not romance. Please, don't confuse odd and unorthodox hobbies as a sign of romantic feelings. Clark never loved the doctor. The doctor just happened to be someone whom Clark was comfortable with because he never crossed the line and got on his nerves. That is all.
Clark is a sociopathic man who cannot feel love, empathy and sympathy. He is just programmed to live according to some rules of society as he possesses some ethics
