Honestly that might not occur to him. He doesn’t think that because those laws most likely don’t apply in their time. And on top of that, he likely thinks that because he double checked with her and she initiated it, he isn’t at fault for anything.

Imagine you were so fucking intoxicated and then a SOBER guy takes advantage of you.
