i absolutely adore how complex song-rik's and jinhyeong's relationship was. how they hurt eachother so deeply because of their strong connection. it really shows how adolescents can leave deep scars on each other through their emotional development. and how these strong emotions can blow fights and feelings out of proportion until your relationship is irreparable. one room ta has such amazing characters and its really hard to not feel connected to them.

as someone who identifies as male and an mlm i have to say this queer rep is pretty shitty; although the main character was alright representation, the gay relationships were terrible rep. First of all the relationship between jun and makoto was literal pedophelia?? and the grooming of jun and possibly mr fahrenheit (and incestual at that) is really abhorrent and gross to me and probably most others.
I also have a problem with the fujoshis and specifically that one girl (forgot her name bc i dont like her enough to remember)
But fujoshis have always made me uncomfortable here is my example: imagine a straight guy hits on a lesbian, and they come out and say "i only like girls or non binary people" and he then asks "what if we had a threesome?" implying that there would be another girl in on the sex making that comfortable for a lesbian to also have sex with that guy. wouldn't that make them feel very uncomfortable?? Yes. Thats how i feel and most(?) mlm and nblm feel when all these girls fangirl and fetishize gay relationships.
And then theres that mc girl, she literally forced herself onto jun even after jun got outed?? And she even said something like "You're not getting rid of me" in the context of her telling jun that their relationship was still a thing. And the whole jun being "i like you" and her being "then kiss me." was such an inconsiderate and selfish thing of her to do.
Well other than all of that, it had good representation of the self loathing queer individuals face.
Anyways happy pride month ! ✧*。٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*。
i cant lie ts pissed me off too many times to count but it was cool to see how the author wrote the characters to learn about each others differences and accept them as who they are. I just feel like there were way too many immature arguments that could've been totally avoided. #communicationiskey
