It was totally the mc’s pride. He left cos he don’t want the ml to help him, pity him, and feel small or insecure because of his circumstances. And instead of communicating, he made the ml feel like they were okay then yeeted himself without warning, leaving ml dumbfounded. Ml was willing to kneel to his sister in exchange to help mc. So now mc is broken, ml is toxic. They are getting therapy, but nobody is still communicating. Smh
