Ok so basically gyuwon ends up leaving to japan to deal w this whole gang thing shit going on n hwayoung completely crazy leavws his job after his superior kept saing him n he beat him up badly (he was already mentally unstable bc gyuwon left him) n chases him down. Gyuwon almost dies but hwayoung kills the ppl in the warehouse he was basically trapped in and then decides to kill gyuwon himself if he wants to die anyways. Gyuwon allows him and he chokes gyuwon (later on it keeps getting mentioned that gyuwon knew hwayoung was actually going to take his life and it was serious) but hwayoungs brother stopped him after gyuwon lost consciousness. The family then hides gyuwon in a vacation home because hwayoung told his family he will kill gyuwon next time he sees him n they did not want him to go to jail. Gyuwon then 2 weeks later hears that hwayoung is starving himself (also gyuwon cant speak due to thr damage the choking caused temporarily) and decided to go to hwayoung. Hwayoung is a mess n tries to off him, then act non chalanat. Gyuwon ends up licking hwayoungs tears and tells him through writing w his finger on hwayoungs palm he loves him n the story ends there (they made up). We then get the epilogue if hwayoung very crazily punishing gyuwon in a bdsm session. Then we get side stories that r very cute and light n we get as a last chapter them at 47-50

this is nowhere near what i was thinking might going to happen, actually i would've never guessed, this is... insane. i'm all for shock value when it's done in a right way so i'm not gonna judge yet but the plot sounds as if the author tried to pull the most ridiculous and angsty, shocking and heartbreaking arc out of her ass just for the sake of it being something crazy. ignore the first 3/4 of the story, let's fuck it all up baby!

i can't imagine how hard hwayoung will crash out to get to this point considering his feelings for gyuwon now. i'm already stressed just thinking about the pain we're gonna have to go through with him, omg and the part where he wants to kill gyuwon???

after your first comment i wanted to go and read the rest of the novel but now... girl i have to pass at least for now... i love gyuwon but i especially love hwayoung and his chatacter arc, this is too much for my little heart. in general, i love ang ang so much and i thought this is going to be something new, something refreshing. a good, respectful bdsm yaoi with a loving, non stereotypical couple, two men that find love in each other and live happily ever after together... yeah, my ass. i'm going to kms.

Tbh the novel is alot darker than the webtoon + has a very strange enema kink.. we have alot of moments where hwayoung considers suicide n murder if gyuwon doesn’t do what he says/stays with him n his obsession is ALOT clearer in the novel. The webtoon imo cut alot of the i will say problemaric aspects out or washed them out we got like 2 glimpses of it but vol 3 built up pretty well on hwayoungs insanity. The novel also has his coming out story that portrays pretty well how stubborn n insane he is so i do think it could be washed down the arc but the attempted killing scene is very important so yea

I think the webtoon made the novel lighter than it was. Hwayoung is severly obsessive (i mean even in the wbtoon we get glances of that) he loves gyuwon ALOT but seeing gyuwon leaving him and basically going on a mission that would have killed him set him off and made him think its better to kill gyuwon himself than let him get killed by someone else. gyuwon even consented to it and saw it as a logical step as well

Are you kidding me? So the author just decided in the end to just ruin these charactersafter all they had been through? It's bad enough Gyuwon is going to just fuck off without saying a single word of explanation, or just fucking talk. Like how about "these guys are threatening you so I need to leave for a while and take care of it." OR how about "let's find a solution together" than to have Hwayoung just really cross that line, i feel this ruins the story for me tbh.
