Everyone straight up thought he was alpha when the sneak peek photo was dropped. Even when the korean chapter dropped only to find out he was the omega. I think the author was trying to break stereotyping by doing this. That not all omegas are small and innocent looking and not all alphas are tall, strong, manly.

Sorry. I think I had misread your question when I was browsing the comments. But, that's a good question. I want to know the answer to that too. It seems so silly he was surprised by Doyun being an omega now after knowing he has an omega dad that many would mistake for an alpha.
