I feel so bad for King. He lost his love and the boy he also loved stole it from him, so he kinda lost 2 loved people. Didn‘t ace love king as well, at least like family? Towards the end it felt like he just hated him. King clearly didn’t deserve that kind of ending.
The only thing that calms me is that he at least had 27 human years, 273 or so vampire years of with 50/60 years were with his beloved jay. Maybe for him dying was freedom because he knew he could leave his beloved jay without feeling guilty. Rest in peace King!
