the lack of communication gets kind of tiring. instead of enjoying every new chapter i find myself getting pretty annoyed. instead of evolving they are running in the same circle over and over again. she hesitates, he gets annoyed and then one of them bursts and everything is solved. solved until the next chapter. what will happen next chapter? will she hesitate to give him a pen or something? and he'll get annoyed with her hesitation?
also i really disliked how he just left her there to eat alone. it pissed me off and nothing he did next didn't make me feel less pissed.
oof, went on a little rant here haha. i really like this manga and i am afraid i'll have to drop it because of lack of plot development.
That's what I'm thinking too since previous chapters ;-;
shoujo's the genre that appeals to middle schoolers that's why it seems repetitive lmao
You're not the only one. I'm getting pissed too tbh. Ever since they became a couple the story becomes dull.
it doesn't seem repetitive, it actually is lol
and i read a ton of enjoyable shoujo manga, the genre has nothing to do with it in this case
i mean it's supposed to be light-hearted and full of fantasies for middle schoolers to fantasize doing with their s/o, hence it's repetitive. The demographic are lit. teens, they aren't looking for a meaningful, jam-packed of emotions, 10/10 comic about 2 high schoolers. I too am quite found of the shoujo genre, but can understand that this isn't nessessary directed to me. nonetheless, it's quite enjoyable as a light-read at 4 in the morning when i have nothing else to do.
uhm... okay? good for you, i guess
