We all know why this story is a good damn read, so I'm not gonna ramble. One aspect that stood out to me though is how the author made the background characters have some type of role, and the author didn't forget that. They even utilized that by keeping majority of them alive, and it fully correlated with the reasoning in the story.
I started at chapter 20, so maybe I skipped something and this question is useless, sorry (・・;). But why does the uke not ever get upset, scared, or hurt the seme like he has done to him? And more importantly, why is the seme so psychotic, wth happened to him?
Well , mokhwa basically growed up , not being able to express his emotions or make his own moves , he was always supervised by someone who told him what to do or gave him orders, so he grew up like that in an environement of violence , which means that now he has difficulty understanding what it is to make his own choices and think about it either. I think that's why he's not very expressive and quite passive too , also in one chapter i think it was 45-46 he explained that he was ascutomed to being assaulted in the past in prison , otherwise nakwon is just an asshole, after all he's a policeman, they're all like that , we don't know his past in any case so we can just assume that he grew up spoiled and therefore became a selfish bastard who abuses his power . ( i hope you understood well what i was trying to say english is not my first language ). Also i really did write an essay if you minded to read allat
all of this is exactly why I have a problem with the sex at the end of last season, and why I personally did not see it as consensual. Knowing Mohkwa's personality and past, as well as Nakwon's history of assault, my man didn't even have time to process the situation let alone give consent. Consent is the presence of a "yes"--not the absence of a "no."!!! my man was too puzzled and confused to even react... and Nakwon forcing himself on him wasn't anything new. The only difference was that this time he was saying "I love you"
Ur right my boy just got with the flow , felt forced as always , this asshole didn’r even consider opening him up , he was the only one who enjoyed it , mokwha looked like he was suffering , i see the author tried to do a cute thing but that wasn’t it , nakwon is still changing and have a loong way to go cuz he is still a bitch , hopefully in this new season he’ll suffer more and become more "likeable" .
Hey y'all. Is there a novel of this story anywhere?
https://moonlightnovel.com/novels/for-my-derelict-favorite/ This is what I use but idk if it’s good or not :/.
What was he crying for, he didn't have to shoot his brother. Seriously, I want to know the actual reason that causes him to cry. Because clearly he's calculated and knows how to manipulate people, so he could have agreed with his brother for now and done a whole different plan like gaining loyalty and locking his brother up. Something like that. But no, he killed his brother so the villagers had no choice but to have him as the ruler because remember, he was never even suppose to be the king in the long run.
He used his brother as a stepping stone till he got to where only he was safe, and I hope that's solidified in future history books to give the older brother most of the credit.
She really should have just killed the contract guy when he was already about to die. Now he's going to be on some fuckshit for the rest of the story. I don't even get why she couldn't kill him when she had the chance since that was her whole plan before...
