I'm really surprised this wasn't a "the end" chapter, and isn't about to go into side stories. It feels like season 2 is it because...what else is there to elaborate on? (^^;)
There's not anymore relationship drama, main couple + sub couples are together, no hints at career changes to go that route, family drama doesn't seem like a potential aspect, and no other antagonist was popping up throughout the story.
Simply put, there isn't any major plot going on to establish 20 more chapters in my opinion. Would season 3 just be them settling into living together and starting a family cause, idk what else there could be plot wise.

No not heart issue. She had pelvic pain since May 2023 and she can’t sit down too well cause of her pain. :(

Im guessing it probably takes a lot of time because the art is stunning. Old xian also works alone im pretty sure. If 19 days had weekly chapters the quality wouldnt be as good as it is now. And this is the only thing shes working on right now!!

And honestly, I don't mind there being nothing directly sexual going on since their kids I'm pretty sure and the setting right now revolves around them just being goofy highschoolers, plus, it fits the vibe to not show explicit sexual scenes. Makes it feel more impacting (▰˘◡˘▰)

When i read the raws for this chapter i was basically yelling WHAT IS MY MAN DOING WHAT IS HIS PLAN?????!!!!! But only after reading the english translation of the chapter where Dahyeok runs away through the window did i remember the part where they said the character in the movie walked into a obvious trap knowingly. Plus the latest korean chapter (slight spoilers ahead) does show Taeman did/does have a plan, although he thinks he did indeed sligthly miscalculate how prepared they'd be.

Claude's the ML nephew. He married the friend but she fell in love with his brother so they eloped, to everyone she's dead, but the ML knows the truth and is okay with that.

To add, both MC and Duke know the truth about the previous Duchess - that she eloped after giving birth to Claude and didn't die.
The ML didn't seem to love the previous Duchess specifically, it was an arranged marriage, and doesn't seem to feel resentful at all towards their choice. As he said, he felt like his brother had left Claude to him as a gift.
So yeah, no issues with the two getting together imo. Even in other people's eyes, they believe the Duchess died 6 years ago, and I think it would be seen as more romantic than not if the two were to get together.
They get each other so well. It's so satisfying to read !!
And it really seems like they'll be fine if the MC ever directly says he wanted to use him for his book in the beginning, since 1) the ML seems to understand all of the MC's underlying intentions. Like how the MC can't verbally he loves him, but the ML gets that and can see he does say he loves him in other ways.
2) MC revealed he pretty much writes books to simply understand people. Which to me sounds like he's indirectly saying, he just wanted to get to know the ML better.
Judging by all the flashbacks and the hints that the ML was an abusive and rapist spouse in their past life (Ig that's the term), it really irks me how he's still so vague and some what manipulative when he's speaking to the MC. It's obvious the ML knows the future and remembers his past, so I expected him to be basically worshipping the MC in some way, or at least making his life smoother since the ML knows the future already. Yes he buys him materialistic things, but the MC clearly needs emotional reassurance and the ML knows that yet does nothing about it. But overall, It's not a bad story so far, I was actually pretty invested.
It's a simple cliché genre of someone went back in time and their trying to change an outcome, but from the POV of the person who isn't the one who remembers. I simply do not like the ML's personality and knowing he most likely raped and abused the MC multiple times at some point, and their still going to end up together is a huge turn off for a story to me.
If none of that bothers you though, you most likely will enjoy the story (^^)d !!

While I agree that the MC needs reassurance and emotional support, I'm not sure he'd accept the support from ML at this point in time. He doesn't even try to accept support from his secretary! And the secretary has been with him longer and has been trying to help him! I think if the ML tried to drown the MC in support, then the MC would get freaked out. He's already a little freaked out with how the ML seems to know what's going to happen and with all the gifts the ML is giving him. I think the ML is doing what he thinks is best and the MC is just going to slowly warm up to him...or remember everything that happened and hopefully confront the ML.
But that is just my take! I'm enjoying this so far! And if this isn't your cup of tea, then that is fine! :) happy reading!
Aaahh, those are all valid points. Thinking more about the varies outcomes if he were to be more "pushy" and what you said, the pacing and method the ML is using does make 100% more sense.

i agree with you. it’s ml’s second chance, he should redeem himself but instead he’s still fucking it up…. like mc keeps pointing out how ml is always a step ahead and instead of reassuring him ml brushes it off as a mere coincidence (which is you know… kind of gaslighting mc). i actually feel sorry for mc since doesn’t have a clue.
I really like mc. He IS interesting, I mean, with a boring backstory, but his personality is smth, I would like to explore. On the other hand... Anything beside him, his bodyguard, and secretary.. it's not a new genre, it just follows just written rules. I am curious abt his past, if not for the caption, u wouldn't even think of past lives. Its already 32 chapters, yet it doesn't follow this path. Just some memories, without any contests. And a cherry on the top - ML is ducking boring. He's such a asshole, he is manipulative and scary for his "beloved". Doesn't tell him anything, just some uneasy words. And again, he does not take no for an answer. Mc does not need any materialistic things. He needs support, warm and someone he could trust. Right now he is alone, but in somehow better conditions. If ml would really want to reedem himself, there's tons of other things he could do, tell, show. He's just going for easy solutions, only suitable for him. He's such a creep, he knows everything, EVERYTHING abt his "lover", yet he still is "mysterious and cool", which is, wow, just a manipulation and illusion. I hate him, such a bitch

Ok the reason why the ML is walking on eggshell and subtlety manipulating the MC is because he knows by heart what the MC really wanted but choose not to do for himself. In the 1st TL the ML r@ped the MC after his brother r@ped him. He imprint on him forcefully. The rule in this omegaverse is that imprinted partners both share memories and emotions. So by that time the ML finally realized that everything the scheme that MC’s family haf pulled were not true and that the MC was truly the victim in this. ML tried being good to him in TL-1 but the MC was too depressed after he has been r@ped back to back by both brothers. The MC later found out that he was pregnant and didn’t know if the father was his husband or his husband’s brother. The pregnancy drove the MC to gun himself which the ML witnessed.

Learn how to stand up on his own till the MC no longer needs him. The ML is very much willing to let the MC go if the MC decided to leave him that is why he keeps repeating that the MC is not lock up. Well MC will remember what happened in TL-1 but he is already too in love for the ML that he came back and married him.

Yes, you can give him a pass. The MC is quife stubborn even in this TL. He always thinks that he doesn’t deserve to make his own decisions because he doesn’t want to he abandoned. Specially now that he has fallen for the ML. Even when the ML is already leading him towards his dream of becoming a perfumer the MC still refuses it but slowly MC little by little accepts the things thaf the ML is giving to him. Oh the ML will take revenge on his behalf towards his family. The ML’s brother will have it bad this TL too.
I mean I get MC's baggage, he's someone who's never made a decision for his own because of how controlling his shitty family be about his life. So True! That’s why I love it when the ML keeps on repeating to the MC that he is not locked up. That he is free. The reason why the ML didn’t marry the MC in this TL is because he wanted the MC to have the freedom to choose his own freedom when things are settled or when he regains his memories of his past life. Unlike in the 1st TL where they are married.
The ML intension is not to own the MC but to set him free and make him independent, that’s why I got a little touch when the ML in the succeeding chapters tells the MC to pick his side no matter how bad he is. The MC got confused because the ML has only shown him nothing but kindness.
Ow spoiler! The thing that ML wanted from the MC is his happiness and freedom. Remember the letter with the flowers when they first met. This vanishing plot better go along with this goofy storyline. As in, when he attempts to disappear it doesn't work at all and everyone knows where he's at or he tells on himself + he indirectly reveals he's pregnant. If it doesn't happen in some similar fashion to that, I'm gonna be disappointed ngl ( ´-｀)
