Hahahaha i received two different answers
I thought it was the emperor too, but I read some spoilers on novel updates that said Yugi was the male lead. The reasoning is because Yugi and Yesuh are more similar in terms of their lifestyle in that they're free to do as they please while the emperor has lots of limitations and also limits Yesuh, so he wouldn't be a good fit.
İ believe Yugi is a good fit. They have similar skills, life style like you mentioned.
