Well if he just watched that would be fucked up,and it will destroy yuuji's trust for megumi. Yuuji aside from gojo sensei and jujutsu students has absolute no person close to him,or a person to call a family. It would be fucked to see one of the few people close to him leaving him because they dont want to see their family members hurt.
