Everyone talking about her mom, she's fucking horrible. In the first life literally knowing that she's a primera she still gave Lilith to the emperor to save her ass and her other child like Lilith isn't also hers. I understand that she has no attachment and love towards Lilith but fuck her, she's also a parent so she should know how Enoch would feel, and she has chances to at least make up or be kinder to her, but no she literally shove her away saying hurtful things and thinking that Lilith hates her and wanted to take it out on her son like.. Fuck off fr. then in the rebellion she again sold them off siding with the fuckass emperor even though her family was against it. She's just a horrible person especially a horrible mother.
I love this story so much one of my faves actually, I love Enoch and Oscar so much, they love Lilith so much I cried many times while reading the novel. Also, Cheshire he literally sees Lilith as the most important thing for him like he's willing to sacrifice anything for her safety. And fuck the emperor for doing what he did to both Enoch and Lilith. When Lilith died in the first life so Enoch sacrifices himself for her, but Lilith is literally a child and only has his father, she cried so much and wanted to sacrifice herself and bring Enoch back to life and he lived so miserably. Of course they got a second chance thanks to Oscar.
I also love how much Lilith love his dad that while they are planning for the whole rebellion, she still wanted to protect Enoch's beliefs not knowing that Enoch is not a perfect saint or hero, that he is willing to sacrifice many things for her (killing others). And of course Oscar, her other dad, I literally cried so much when he revealed the past to Lilith, like he's the one there for her, when she's imprisoned by the emperor. He loves her so much he gets so mad when she uses her power.
Oscar is the a Tower Mage, right? WO in his other life the reason why he didn't side with his father, but also did nothing to save the Emperor, and ultimately defended Lilith against Cheshire was because he moved her like a father? Like he was the for her when the real dad though she was dead?

Oscar does not like the emperor, he actually hates him, and he just don't like almost everybody that's just how he is. However he was not on enoch's side in the first life because he can't. The first thing the emperor have Lilith do is to make it so that Oscar cannot disobey his orders.
The Mom is heartless and selfish. She didn't need to treat mc like her daughter or be a present mother to her, but she could at least be merciful and pity the child like any sensible adult should. Instead, she's projecting a lot of negativity on the kid and hating on her when MC was doing nothing but exist.
I'm at earlier chapters rn, and I hate the ml so far, I hope this gets better and not a waste of time

I did too but now hes not bad. Everything before was him having a closed off heart and not understanding his feelings. He's not my fav ml by a long shot but he's definitely more likable. I understand why people like him/this series now. I'd keep reading! It's not a waste imo
