I'm starting to get triggered by her understanding of corsets. While It's true that women didn't wear corsets under their Chemise a la Reine, they did wear stays, which were the less comfortable, more restrictive precursor to the corset. AND corsets and stays weren't harmful to women's bodies at all. There was no organ crushing and there are no recorded instances of people removing ribs. Tight lacing was just as concerning as extreme waist training is today. The only reason actresses complain about corsets is because they are likely being tight-laced into corsets that don't fit them.
Whenever I read a manga about people reincarnating into kids I assume that their soul is in the new body but the brain is still a child's. Like they may be mature, and they may have their memories but they are still developing physically so they can only be so mature.
In this case I also think that the twins are so affected by their trauma because it happened when they were still developing, and their mind set was built around that trauma. Also 5 years of it will mess anyone up, and they haven't interacted with people outside of their abusers for 5 years. Of course they trust the one person they can relate to, they don't want to lose that connection.
Personally I'm annoyed the most by how the children are so passive and having the plot happen to them, instead of actively making decisions or doing things.
But I don't know anything about anything, So take this with a Bucket of salt, and Have a good day/night (=・ω・=)
