I can't wait to see this get that far. It's got so many cute scenes!

demon13o June 2, 2025 3:43 am

I read the rest of it, has 62 chapters total.

This certainly had a little of everything; reincarnated, transmigrators, time travelers, soul isekai, ect. It was a wow on some, and when we got to learning the truth it all clicked.

First, I was slapping my knee at how I got it as we were going through the story, but it still felt nice with the MC discovering his emotions again. I say again because he was originally human, but him and all the warriors who fought off the invaders a thousand years ago. The invaders were the "Gods" that had wanted to kill all life on the planet, but the human race stood strong. MC was the strongest human hero, so he was the only one to retain a human form, while all the rest took on more beastly forms.

All their memories were sealed and they forgot their past. MC doesn't even recall the name he may have had, so the ending really had me crying ;-;

Spoilage here!

So in the ending, he has to make a choice on how to go about saving his world. He had accidentally transmigrated to Earth with the soul of the chick who was in Ouyang Shang that you meet in 45-46. He had met the author and in order to change the doomed ending of the Blue Star [MC's real world], he has to give up ever going back to his world. He can no longer return to his friends or the world he knew, and stay to protect Earth. If he decides to go back, it would go one of two ways. He would either remain hated by the world but keep it safe or try to explain the truth he learned and fight the gods only to lose everything.

So he decided to stay, the author of his story managed to guide the story to a safe and peaceful end. The time travelled demon king realized the current him [MC] must have sacrificed a lot for the peace they obtained because the Elder that looks like a robot had collected the data that was the truth and had the humans come to make peace with the "demons" realizing they were the heroes of the world when the invaders first appeared.

The time traveler demon king took on the role of our MC in the world, but our little red head could sense that there was something off about him compared to the MC she'd come to know. The tower was destroyed and everyone lived in coexistence. Those that died on the top floor of the tower + the regressor hero were all brought back to life. The guy who died in chapter 45 was brought back and sent back to a few moments after he disappeared when the tower was sealed, which lead up to how the fragments were all scattered in hard to find locations. The hero the MC managed to con into killing himself; the one that was tricked by the system, he was transmigrated to another world. We see he's in a comic being sold on Earth. The kid who was sent into the past by the Gods was praised as a hero, his statue changes.

It ends with kids questioning if the demon king really came to Earth like the comic said, and they spot MC and question why he looks familiar. They ask who he is, and he says that he has no name. It just ends there ;=; Man... he just needs a damn name, poor guy!

I liked that he was changing, but the ending was so rushed, and it felt so open and yet so gut punching of an ending. I wish there was more ;-;

Anyways, if you want to read it, I can point you to SnowMTL under the same name.

As much as I want to be like "oh nice" or "how sweet" the ending left something unfinished. Kael deserved more than that ending, and it felt so rushed. Poor Kael, only saying goodbye to him as he left with way too much composure for someone that lost someone he loved. I expected a Carsen reaction, really; going all demon lord at the thought of losing the MC. Now that's someone ready to destroy the world over losing the one they love. Just showed us that Kael's love was paper thin, he said he loved the MC, but now we see his love could never beat Carsen's level any day. We could see that the MC was going to end up with Carsen, and it was cute that he used the stone to be able to find him.

Also, def saw it coming when the Fate stone was brought up. How the fact he neutralized magic was an even bigger dead ringer for me that he had the Fate Stone within him. When he died, and it showed up, it honestly felt old news. It was a cute idea to have it be closer than expected, but that he had to die to find it, similar to the "fairy tale" where the king died, and the god cried with a tear falling to the mortal plane crystallizing into a stone to change one's fate.

Even that bit with the stone had been sprinkled all over the final season to the point you'd have to be story dumb to not realize it would show up. Yet when it showed up, the story rushed past it.

Not pleased with the rushed story, but still loved it. I still cried in the last few chapters, but glad I waited to binge the season after it was done. I can't wait to see what the short stories contain, but still felt this ending left me with this feeling of lack.

I'm ready for this mess! Can't wait to read the flaming comments when it comes to Oswald later, and when everyone who didn't read the novel or snoop the spoilers learns who the ML is. Just gonna get my virtual popcorn a'popping and will fluff the pillow before I get comfy for this.

The way he just appears at the end of the chapter had me wheezing. He's like a freaking stalker with his yandere tendencies.

That hiatus note means a fractured tailbone! I know that pain oh so well, the worst days of school ever, just from falling in gym class wrong. All it takes is a simple weight misplacement, too. To this day, decades later I still can't sit without a pillow.

Title is supposed to be Shush! I'm Not Your Pet!

Also, it's a shame it ends on such a cliff ._. looks like that's how it just ends, if that "Fin" means anything.

Pass me some popcorn, they're trashing here!

But honestly, guys, you forgot the part that they've known each other for years. Granted, they barely interacted, but you have to remember she was beaten in a duel as a kid by a non magician. The idea that no one could best a magician was strong in her mind, and she fell in love with him since he bested her.

She and him had a "marriage" proposal so she came to expect this and her little girly mind was mostly there in love with a little reason left. When it came to the part where she was kidnapped, and he saved her, then "protected" everyone by taking on Madam. We all knew he didn't die and that he failed to kill Madam then, but to everyone else they thought he died sacrificing himself for the survival of many.

She became obsessed with him, while everyone believed he was dead, she was determined to bring him back. Don't think more so in the sense of love, but more so in her sense of trying to repay his sacrifice. She should have taken the time to wait, but a girl that young and with that personality is bound to fall to the complex. I can understand how she went and made a deal with a Corpse after her Uncle [the old dude who died] had paid the price of the rebound in her place. She didn't want to lose anyone else after all that.

She was still a child and children may seem strong, but they are still fragile. Her mother should have reigned her in like her other Uncle suggested, but that foolish woman thought her daughter would hit the wall, not destroy the wall and proceed to cover everything in blood along the way.

Can't really just throw mud on her when there were so many people who didn't stop her or try to talk her into other ways before letting her dive into the dark magic of necromancy. If she had held on for a few more years, she'd have learned of his return, but she wouldn't have been able to find her sister's corpse either.

That's my rant, so what popcorn are we sharing? I got caramel and cheese!

    Muy March 27, 2025 12:46 pm

    Agreed, I mean she is obsessed, and that obsession went too far, but you can't really blame her for that. I blame the mom who didn't reel her in or do anything for her except let her be. That is like the worst you can do to a teenager who lost her friend and fiance because they supposedly died rescuing you. She was bound to make awful choices, but no one was doing anything to stop it. In fact in many of these stories the parents are mostly useless and leave the kids to "prove themselves" before doing anything, or just leave the kid by themselves to "grow" which is actually just really shitty parenting. I mean, these are teenagers, so most choices will not be intelligent and well thought out. And in fact it usually works out in these stories because their kid is actually a reincarnated adult or a reborn person, not because they are actually teenagers making good choices!!! That particular parenting style bothers me so much in these stories.

    demon13o March 27, 2025 5:20 pm

    Exactly! If her mother had done things in a better way, we might have seen a different outcome. Maybe had her fuel the obsession into maybe making things better in his absence, or such things. It's an outcome we could think of, but were denied the route of, sadly.

Letting this marinate for nearly 3 years o.o was worth the 200+ chapter binge... def making me hungry for the novel scenes to come still ;-; just learned the authors came out with the extra stories! Really want to know what happened after the end ;-; but boo... maybe we'll learn through it, I hope.

    I respect your dedication of 3 years Trash :)))

    It wasn't easy, but read a bit of the webtoon then was like "need to know the story" went and read the novel... had to wait 3 and half years for it to be less fresh to take on the webtoon again lol. Even though I know what's going to happen, is fine. I'm sad a few scenes didn't make it into the webtoon, but do love how much isn't being cut out, though. Future arc's are definitely going to have me in tears again ;-; yet... worth every tissue!

    Webtoon adaptations are really give or take situations, most of the time makes me read the novel out of curiousity so I get it but you'll never catch me marinating one with how impatient I am

    Certain ones are rough to let marinate, but since I read the novel, I didn't mind letting it marinate. Gave me plenty of time to wonder how the webtoon will go and now that I know an anime is in the works ;-; how that'll pan out...
