Wait people actually enjoy my beloved oppressor…

it's a great tragic read. What would I dislike about the story?

First of all maybe you should’ve said that in the comment section of the manhwa. Second it has a low rating and hated on for a reason. The male lead is absolute trash like just because he has a traumatic past doesn’t excuse him being an asshole or make him well written. The story completely romanticizes emotional abuse in my opinion it’s poorly written the only thing truly tragic about it is the fl is still married to and ending up with that douche bag.

First, I can comment wherever I want; there is no "rule" stating I can't. And many have commented about manhwas or mangas in the general forum. Just because my comment makes you feel a certain way doesn't mean I can't comment. Second, it is hated on because many like you are too immature to understand it. You're trashing it saying it romanticizes abuse when it does not. Please tell me an example out of manhwa where they love each other more because of the abuse. Yall expect him to be this lovable prince who can hurt anyone who steps to the FL, but know how to treat her lovingly? That doesn't make sense and is unrealistic. If someone has never been to therapy and has bad habits that they've struggled with since youth, would you expect them to change? No, because it is unrealistic. Heiner is the same case. He's killed since he was young. Been tortured beyond end, and has never received love before Annette. He doesn't know how to respond to love if his entire life was an ongoing battle. How do you expect someone like that to be the prince who's kind and loving?... Like I said, a lot of you guys are extremely simple minded and cannot think or question different possibilities.

My comment was not about The Beloved Oppressor if you read it. So your reply doesn't make sense. I was talking about people trashing typical tropes, but still reading the things they complained about. I brought up that story as it is different than the typical manhwas out right now. The Beloved Oppressor taps into the characters more and is not a bland read.
