People who read the extra but didn't see new chapter raws: Aw, so sweet that they finally said "I love you." Too bad it's just a hallucination. They'll never really say it in the story proper.
New chapter of the story proper, dead serious, no hallucinations: Asami "I love you." Akihito "I love you!"

Hey, yo, go save your man, Takaba. But it's not the first time Akihito has saved Asami's fine ass. Remember that Tangled moment with the fry pan? Or Akihito dragging Asami's dead weight out of the soup when the helicopter went down, nursing him back to health, and finding food for him to eat? Takaba has skills.

Aaron dumping water on a chained up Feilong giving me flashbacks.

Maybe Aaron will fall in love with his captive like Asami did with Akihito.

"Feilong had seen the bond between Asami and Akihito, which was so strong that no one could sever it. However, what had swayed Feilong’s heart the most was Asami’s true intention when he had made him lower his weapon – not the intention to kill him, but to leave him alive. It was not scornful pity that had prompted Asami to do it. No matter how much Feilong had thought about it, he had not been able to get behind the reason why, and when Asami himself had told him, it was as if the evil spirit which had possessed Feilong had suddenly disappeared. For the first time it had dawned on him then that it had been nothing but his delusions which had driven him to chase Asami."~~Finder No Rakuin

"He had wished for someone he could walk through this dark world hand in hand with. He realized that this was also the reason why he had always longed for Asami, although he had hated him at the same time, and why he had been rejected by him."
"Asami desired a person who was living far away from the underworld. Takaba Akihito. What Asami now had been able to win for himself and what Feilong yet wanted to win for himself were opposites. Through the darkness and the conflicting feelings Feilong had been carrying inside him, he had involved people who otherwise did not have anything to do with the criminal world, and blood had been shed unnecessarily."
"When he thought about it now, he realized that the whole affair must have been a distressful trauma for Akihito, and in spite of that, he had not let that get him down and had forgiven Feilong for his actions. Eventually, Akihito had even protected him from Asami and jumped in front of his gun. Feilong had seen how Asami embraced Akihito, and the sight had elicited a mixed feeling of defeat and understanding. He had not been able to do anything about it. At that very moment, his heart had frozen. Asami had directed the gun at him, yet Feilong had not defended himself but rather just stood there. Maybe it had been an act of desperation. He had not cared if Asami were to kill him at that point. Had Akihito not returned the deeds of ownership, he would have lost the reason to draw a line under the matter. What would have happened with him then?"~~Finder No Rakuin

So I know the step, Feilong has gone further has realized that he chased an image of Asami, an obsession, the fear of staying alone. Asami wants Akihito and rejects Feilong in HL and NT because he does not want to be a mafioso.

Even in the manga, it is understood that Fei's love is strange, is a mixture of passion, love of a son for his father, fraternal love, friendship ... let's remember what Fei says, "Will you love me in the place of my father?"
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
When did you finish, do you tell me what do you think about Fei / yoh and the constant confrontation that Feilong does between Asami and Yoh?

Thank you for posting this. Feilong's own thoughts on the subject. I have seen FNR quoted often here by ppl. who said they've read it, this never came up. I have never read it myself. I don't think it will stop this they are willing to push aside the story facts to keep this going. Thanks for trying.

He is. No doubt :D
So Yamane Ayano is listed for the Feb. 21 issue of BBoy Gold (including the cover) and on twitter, she describes the current chapter as a "stepping stone" to the next chapter. Sounds like the arc isn't finished with this chapter.
Feb. 2021, that is.
Yeah, I see her name in the Feb’21 issue which will probably release on 28th Dec as usual. Though who knows, it might be another extra againnnnnnnnn. She did clearly say PiA ended though in the last chapter and here we thought the afterplay in abyss was supposed to close the chapter but seems that it might actually be open ended ending to start the next arc since she said it’s a stepping stone. It better not be some stupid memory loss nonsense...
I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who cringes at the memory loss idea!
Oh yeah definitely the memory loss thing is so bad especially when it would take until 2030 to finish the arc which may in turn not be a real ending but be a stepping stone for the next arc lmao.
PiA left so many plot holes and corny rushed storylines too. Aaron dying in that totally unbelievable way, boring Yuri coming back from the dead to absolutely no one’s surprise, Sudou potentially coming back from the dead too in the future and if you add that memory loss on top of that and it’s just ... yeah... please no...... just no...
Curious why y'all are so worked up about memory loss, like it's a done deal or something. Only talk of amnesia I see is on this board, which of course has a dazzling track record of predicting the direction of the story.
The extras are most likely contractual obligations. Also, they provide an opportunity to inject some sexy fun when the storyline doesn't allow for it. Though I do understand that the intellectuals who are just here for the plot eschew that sort of thing.
I think it's actually the other way around: many people here were SO sure about the whole memory loss thing as if it was actually a good idea. It's not! In 99 of 100 cases it is lousy writing of an author who finds himself in a tight spot that he does not know how to handle. But Yamane-sensei is not that bad of an author.
And I for one am happy with the extras, if only some people would understand that they are JUST THAT: Extras! They are not canon to the actual storyline!
Finally I'm not the only person who thinks like that
Indeed that would be a terrible conclusion. I've read a fanfiction with the same concept : it's not bad but I can't think or just imagine the reaction and the rebuilding of relationship (especialy when one the two have to explain the start) and it's not that kind of concept that would fit the atmosphere of the manga. I just imagine that Asami would somehow recover "miraculously" of the three shots he took and Akihito asking if what he said was serious etc. Asami would maybe (COME ON) confirm his feelings for him, Akihito would answer he does too and we would have our scene.(⌒▽⌒) Ok next arc
I like the extras, some of them are cute, but it’s the timing.. I’m kinda just fed up of the never ending cliffhangers I thought we would get a conclusion at least this time but guess not.
