I read this a while back and the comments kind of surprise me. Of course it's not a fluffy cute story. However the psychological plot points were very interesting and overall great to read. You can acknowledge therapy is in desperate need, but also love the story and the twisted dynamic of the characters. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
So I've been reading the licensed version but there's not a forum on the app lol.
I don't know how to feel about Elvin. I don't know if I'm misremembering but didn't he admit early on he was using Renee? That he was only kind to her because she responded positively and he needed her abilities? Seems he changed his tune real quick.
I understand dropping the series once it's licensed because it's important to support the author (I've gone and bought the chapters out so far).
Unfortunately though, Tappytoon edits the works. Explicit content is cut out and my pervy self still wants to see the original content. I do wish there was an easy way around that. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
It’s on Tappytoon. Make sure the mature section is turned on. Here’s the link if it helps - https://www.tappytoon.com/en/comics/spinel-m
So here's the thing...
I have many issues with love triangle stories. I like the drama and forced growth that results, but they end up being very predictable. I don't think anyone really questions who the "main" and "secondary" love interests are. And I have yet to see a story where the "secondary" interest is who the lead ends up with. I'll still enjoy the read of course, but I guess I'm disappointed I haven't seen a different result and don't even bother to hope to.
When it comes to the 2nd love interest x lead, Hate Mate is a good one. Pacing’s a bit slow at the start but it picks up fairly quickly. Depends on personal preference but if you like cynical+complex characters, dry humor and non of the usual cliches, would highly recommend checking it out: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hate_mate/?4IdR
That cliffhanger is a sin.
