It seems as though the father actually cares about his daughter but can’t show it for some reason?? Very confused about that, but he shouldn’t be shocked or upset by her distance regardless. He treated her so badly.
But he didn't treated his other daughter like that. I know that there is a reason coz they mentioned in the manga but the reason should be applied on both daughters and if he really did care about Keira (even she just a little)he shouldn't have ordered her execution, it was going too far....that scumbag. He doesn't deserve to be called a father.

Honestly my opinions are based on what the story has shown so far. We have seen someone ELSE that has brought back time. He also mentions that he cares for the daughter in a recently posted chapter, but that he can’t express it. It doesn’t excuse his behavior but I posted because I’m curious as to why he said that. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
