I have been waiting for the new chapter, where I presume Ruka will actually come clean with Nemunemu. Things have always been lovey dovey for a little while now so I guess sensei would create real obstacle for them this time. Hideyuki has been trying to protect Nemu in his own way without considering his partner's feeling, and Nemu is too much in love with him to actually be angry at him. I think they will both learn from this and then become lovey dovey all over again, but this time no Ruka or whatsoever-kun bothers them. If yes, it would be Nemu Mama next time. Nonetheless, this time is also a reflection of real life's relationship itself.
Sensei ah~ 让他们好好开开心心吧(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Just because you can't live and do everything at 100%, that does not mean that you can live your fullest at 50%. Everybody has problem, big or little, but don't ever dump your unfortunate life on someone else. It's neither Hideyuki nor Nemu got Ruka sick so he was in no place to crawl into their lives and mess it up. I definitely feel Ruka's pain but being manipulative and acting weak to get attention when he was not even that sick are just pathetic. Live strongly and proudly Ruka! Be grateful that you're still alive :)

Um you know he wasn't that sick, how? I get the hate, but not the gatekeeping. I mean, you're saying that if he WAS sick you'd forgive him. No, even sick people know better. Thx.

What I meant was when he was with Maya that night, I sensed that he wasn't that sick to begin with, he knew Hideyuki was with Nemu so he might come up with plan to separate them. There is no deny that he is sick when I have just read Vol 8 - chap 2. Please don't get all work up over detail, I am more sympathetic towards him than hate him like what you just assumed. Thanks for asking anyway, since some might misunderstand my words like you do :)

I just read the raw chapter and with my poor Chinese I couldn't figure out all the traditional characters :( although from my perspective, Ruka might eventually end up with his some sort of business-partner dude (that guy drinking with Ruka seems to take an interest in him) after meddling with Hideyuki and Nemu's relationship. He's physically weak but cunning and smart so I figure he knows when to stop. Sensei will not toss our hearts here and there for long since you guys definitely know whoever belongs to whom since the beginning. Ruka and those in relation to him are here to spice things up a little and also to remind us, no matter what obstacles are along the way, true love will still find its way back (▰˘◡˘▰)

I read a lot of yaoi and can see hints in every couple but in this case, I actually want him to be together the short-haired girl ლ(´ڡ`ლ) their chemistry is nothing normal!
She is cute and naive and Qi Fang seems to be a guy who protects his loved one. This chapter has everything I expect after Sun Jing and Tong Tong's kissssssssss

I have one question that I have asked myself multiple times since I first read the Hana series. Why did Hana call Hajime Ikkun..? ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ I just can't understand that, please kind stranger, who could answer me?
Many thanks :3

I think it has to be something about how his name Hajime is written in Kanji. Kanji can have different way of reading, so often Japanese people tend to read the name wrong so they always ask how each of their Kanji is written.
Dunno how his name is written in Kanji but, Hajime can be written the same as the kanji for number 1 (or 1st) (1 stroke line) and number 1 in Japanese is Ichi, so Hana probably did it on purpose calling him I-kun for short and to make it sound more sweetly into Ikkun.
Just my theory though. I could be wrong. But you can check wikipedia for Possible writings for the name Hajime. (Just Google up: "how to write hajime in kanji wikipedia)

Ikkun’s name Hajime, is written with kanji “一” which means “1”= “ichi”(Japanese for “one”) It’s a common way of making nicknames. Read the kanji the wrong way on purpose for a nickname.
‘ikkun’ is a derivation of’ichi-kun’ shortened. It has a childish nuance so it sounds really like they are childhood friends.
As ‘ichi’ is a more common way of reading the kanji character, it’s possible that Hana misread his name when he was little, though I’m not sure, it could just be on purpose and small kids like to play with sounds of words and names.
I’m a native speaker of Japanese, so I’m pretty confident with my answer.
I hope this helps
ps by the way ‘ichigo’ needs another character for ‘go’.
For example, if you’ve read “Bleach” Ichigo’s name is 一護 (kanji character ‘ichi’ and ‘go’ which means ‘one’ and ‘save’) though this name is very uncommon.
When people hear the word ‘‘ichigi” the first thing people imagine is “strawberry” (苺= ichigo = strawberry)

Also, as well as there are many ways of reading kanji, there are also many ways of putting the sound into kanji.
For example, “Hajime” (はじめ) could be 一, 始, 肇, 甫, 元, 基, 創... etc
The most common kanji for this name are 一 and 肇. (kind of shows how ordinary Ikkun is on the whole)

Oh my gosh, after having read the whole raw volume of The lion doesn't refuse, my love for HarutoxYuzuru has increased like crazy. At first Yuzuru was so not my ideal uke type thingy, but the more I read, the more I realize how cute he is, despite his sturdy body and hot temper :3
It will be heavenly if trans team translate the rest of the story >___< I could have been satisfied with the raw chapter if only I had brushed up a little more on my Mandarin :((

It's neither Keiichi nor Shingo to take the blame for shattering their relationship. Their arguments were brought on by their lack of trust, insecurity, and also lack of proper communication with each other (probably both of them don't wanna ask each other too many personal question because they don't want to intrude the other's life, idk). It is too normal for every relationship, they fight and they make up. Some fights are just harder than the others, and they help the couple realize what they've missed out on in their love life. Keiichi's attitude in this chapter is quite understandable, because he never knew how Shingo felt when he asked Keiichi to break up with him. Keiichi was taken aback without knowing Shingo's feeling of being insecure, abandoned and betrayed so it's naturally he would throw a little tantrum as we've seen. Shingo apologized because someone had to save their relationship and this time it was Shingo (as you noticed in the other series, it's always Keiichi who had to back down, Shingo rarely expressed his true feeling and rather kept to himself). Besides, Shingo would probably thought that when he asked for the break up, Keiichi would not go with it so easily and the result surprised him. He rejected people who wanted to love him from the very start because he did not want to get hurt again, but with Keiichi - who he did not expect would ever leave him, he was willing to forget about his pride once.
Sorry if I have said too much, my point is please do not blame either one of them because that was just how relationships are. Their flows of attitude are completely normal as well. In my opinion, the author did a great job of satisfying me :3
Have fun reading chapter 12 guys :3
After having waited for more than 50 chapters, we can now finally witness the absolute Katsuya!!! But we all know what happened :(
