hmmm, the author actually gave a hint a few chapters back that jian yi would be an uke because the back of his shirt had the chinese slang of it. i also think xi would be seme considering he’s more dominant. like everyone has fujoshi experience obviously, i actually myself doubt jian yi would be a top from how he acts really submissive and from the side illustrations. i think people just say they think “soso will be seme” based on what they want rather than what they actually think will happen. i think that doesn’t matter in the end though cause this is shounen ai. no one will ever really know lol. so technically no one will ever be wrong. you can think or want whatever.
