I came back to read this again cause I wanted to feel something and god it just ALWAYS HITS ! I remember the first time I read it and I was alittle upset with the ending but overall just happy they ended up together. And so now I was reading through the recent comments and while I understand the frustration, part of me feels like there doesn’t need to be a “reason” they ended up together. Also part of me that does try to find a reason, I feel like re reading it gave me more insight and a different look at the plot, and while futaba and touma are having their “compliment fight” futaba makes a point to show that taichi is really giving the whole situation some thought, and then touma proceeds to say “I can’t be his gf” and then futaba replied “I can’t be his boyfriend”. I feel like this here shows some insight that there was a possibility that taichi was considering. And the author even states that this book was based on all the choices taichi decided to make. Meaning taichi, even if he did consider to choose taichi, he chose the path with futaba. Later leading to a breakup but that was still the path he chose. And then after that, he decided to choose his next path. So overall after re reading it so many times, I really appreciate the author adding the time skip and showing the theme of what we go through everyday in life lol not every choice we make is the best one but we have to keep making choices that we see best fit for that current time in our lives.
Damn this is amazingggggg. I literally love gun sm and idk how I wanna see this fight end. And lowkey I wanted Daniel to be the one to beat him … but also I feel like it makes sense for the crews to take him down … BUT I ALSO FEEL LIKE PTJ WILL HAVE DANIEL END IT SO AHGGHHH IDK BUT THIS IS PEAK
