In the novel, the flashback takes place when he was 14-15 I believe. I just don’t like how the guy tells a kid to suck another guy off.
Anyway, MC couldn’t do it and the man blamed him and made him his exclusive guide out of guilt and would abuse him until he became an adult. He was left at home, no TV, no computer, no books, no social interaction while the esper would constantly hit him and emotionally abuse him as well… MC grew up not knowing anything and is naive to the world outside the house.
