I'm guessing the dragons reincarnation cycle could be stopped somehow since King Hiryuu's reincarnation finally appeared. I feel like the same could be said about the Crimson illness and that there is a trick to it to be cured of it with the help of Yona but the catch will be something that will save the white haired girl but not Sowoon because plotwise Sowoon has to die somehow; either by choice/sacrifice or by force.
Since I predict the dragons curse will be broken with this generation, Zeno will also become mortal. He might die at the end but I think the author will let him live out a mortal life growing older and stuff and we'll see him die offscreen and Yonas and Haks children visit his grave or smth.
Also the debate on why he doesn't want yona to take the throne. I also think it'll be "freedom" bs and "not involved with political conflict that caused our families so much grief". I also think Sowoon has become a whiny bitch but I still think the author is trying to make him look "sympathetic" so that we would at least care when he eventually kills himself
it's completely valid if you hate him but i think soo won was meant to be a somewhat sympathetic and morally gray character from the start. so much that if we folllowed his story from the start we'd probably be rooting for him. when you think about it he had a pretty tough childhood, first the murder of his father whom he admired so much, then the pressure from his father's followers to take revenge and finally having to betray his friends for the sake of his ideals. must've been pretty hard to keep interacting with them like nothing's wrong to prevent suspicion all while knowing they'll have to part ways one day. he wasn't blinded by revenge either since he waited a long time to test king il's capability when the others were eager to immediately assasinate him. it's amazing writing from the author's part for creating a character so controversial that you either like him or absolutely despise him lol
I thought the emperors would want to use that stone on soldiers I was dreading that so when he mention using it on himself I was actually relived. Then he brings up a "child under 7" as the main subject wtf.
Calling it that the neon will kill the emperor. Hell feel some power, go berserk, knights will try fight him but he'll eventually die himself.
So his family wealth was all due to his mom's ability. She must've morphed a lot and her sickness might have been a consequence of that. Foreshadowing what could happen to our FL?
While Bibi decided to distance herself from Dahee, Dahee happen to find out about Yeonwoo's abuse. I guess in that period of time they became friends. Knowing he's manipulative he probably also blackmailed her in someway tho.
Also I'm kinda glad(?) the thing about Yeonwoo finding out about Bibis ability was over so quick. Like we thought he'd hate her and distance himself but it already switch around to Yeonwoo feeling guilty and Bibi being the one that is angry at him.
Damn I remember reading this back in January and as much as I want to like it I just hate the message it's sending. Like "Why not make make it better if you can?" cause that would be overtime and you're not being paid for it. This is literally how game crunch works and happens to so many industry newbies who want to make the best thing possible but at the expense of themselves (and the company because now they think that they can make a game in a certain amount of time and not account for the unpaid overtime of this one worker continuing the cycle of crunch).
Is he seriously guilting her into this? If you want a passion project then do it but this is your job. If your employer wants better quality then they're gonna pay for better quality! Sorry but goddamn do I hate this being the premise of a romance manga. I know they mentioned paid overtime if you get past 80 hours but that still doesn't change the fact that they're not being paid for their all-nighter until then. Like "You won't work for free? Are you not passionate about this?" And not to mention how it perpetuates the whole "suffer for your art" bullshit. This is extra weird coming from a mangaka of all people who should know best about how horrid crunch can be this just upsets me so much. IRL example: The Last of Us 2 wining multiple Game Awards but at what cost?
It’s better to 110% rather than just do what’s required and not feel satisfied.
Even if you’re not getting paid for the extra work, you should still do your best so not only YOU feel satisfied but the people around you.
If you feel guilty, than you know you’re not putting all the effort that you want.
