Existing everywhere. I hate the creator of the rumor, obviously, but what pisses me off more is people who just believe it! They start treating someone differently without getting genuine proof.
Then when the rumor is debunked, they don't even apologize! They suddenly get all friendly after cursing someone over something they're not even sure was true or not. They're like sheep, not knowing what to believe and going with the popular opinion
