i hate the fucking ending. its so stupid. she chose a **** who killed her in her past life over a red head bakugo and a hot kinda psycho genius. i mean… what kind of drug was she on??? the character buildup is so good so thats the only reason i read it but THE ENDING IS FUCKING DISAPPOINTING.

I see! It would disappoint me too if the female lead was betrayed by the ml, regaining her life again in order to prevent her death and could actually choose how will her life begin differently, but then at the end, she decides to be with the person that killed and abuse her in her past life. I’m not saying that people “can’t” change; however, in this case it seem to leave a bad taste for most readers because we were supporting the fl and we knew what evil deeds he did to her. Sometimes I am disappoint that the second ml is never chosen despite their care actions for the fl. It always will be the ml that will be with the fl regardless of what he does in the past or even in the present :(

Her past life is shown in the first few chapters, basically what happens is that the FL is the prince’s betrothed, they didn’t have a close relationship, but they had a working one. All this changes when a girl gets isekaied and the prince falls in love with her and makes her the empress and the FL the concubine. The FL is understandably upset, but doesn’t show it. At some point the prince raped the FL because of some petty childhood jealousy and a month or so later she finds out she is pregnant. The transmigrated girl doesn’t like this and does something to cause a miscarriage. Even when she is sick and depressed from the miscarriage, the prince doesn’t even visit her. The FL learns from a maid that the transmigrated girl is pregnant and almost reaches her breaking point. But her dad (who she wasn’t too close to in this life) sees his daughter’s suffering and offers to take her away, which the FL happily accepts. But then the dad gets set up in an assassination plot and the FL begs the prince to spare him. He has her lick his shoes, but then reveals that he already executed the dad. This causes the FL to go into a rage and stabs him with her hairpin. Because of this, she is put to death.
In her next life she meets two second MLs who I think are leagues better than the prince. There is a red haired knight and slightly yandere green haired scholar who would never dream of doing these things to her. When she chose the prince at the end many people, including me, were very upset.

I originally assume that the fl was set up by the prince and his empress so that she was made as a traitor to the kingdom and was executed, but after reading your post, this is just beyond my assumption. I can’t believe she actually forgave him for that? I know he is a different person from before, but holy shit. To seriously go through that trauma that was created by the person you “trusted” the most and THEN, goes back to him despite knowing what he did to you in your past life. Is she stupid or.. Honestly...I’m having trouble trying to understand her decision despite not even reading the book yet.

I know right, I hadn’t read it in a while and went back to read the beginning again. She loved the prince, but after the other girl came he started saying some really nasty things to her. Things like she wasn’t fit to be the concubine, only a mistress or prostitute. He also said that no matter what her children would never be in line for the throne with a smirk on his face. The transmigrated girl was also really annoying, she refused to respect their customs or do any of the work she was supposed to. After she fell in love with the prince, she became downright evil.
