the people who are team tj really aren’t understanding his and ian’s relationship. i’m not saying you can’t be team tj, but can’t you guys see this is clearly a trauma bond? a relationship between two boys who only had each other? ian is finding himself and tj is still stuck in the past. they both know that what they have is unhealthy and selfish and yet you still want them to end up together?

SOMEONE FINALLY speaking truth here. Ian is moving on from the bad influence and crime. Tj refuses to change and thus is staying behind for a boy that no longer exists. I literally read in season 1 where Ian says he used to love Tj before he changed/another scene where Tj was sleeping and Ian with his fingers covered up tj’s scar to show someone he knew long ago.
Y’all wake up. All they had was each other so therefore their standards was to the ground. Now that Ian is changing and trying to leave a world away from drugs and crime, he ends up finding someone who’s kind and can show him how to live life.
