So the tsukasa that hanako killed might’ve been formed by hanakos subconscious guilt, or he’s some sort of demon or Yokai that was able to age and have any other human characteristics (which we’ve seen is more than possible), that would explain who was abusing hanako wasn’t actually tsukasa - hanako still believes he stabbed tsukasa but the current tsukasa isn’t the real one - the real one is stuck in the red house unable to leave as a punishment or side effect of is wish being granted (I’m assuming unable to age judging by the fact he’s still a kid?)
