Alek ruins the story completely. He can only get the attention of the main character by taking advantage of him when he is in heat. He disgusts me, and creeps me out. I had to stop reading. Which sucks because Ivan is adorable. He deserves better.

If you stick with it he does a lot of growing and owns up to his shitty behavior. It's a really beautiful story in that way since it's so rare in manwha, but I get it if you choose not to finish it. Plus Ivan and Hyun are such a sugary sweet couple when they get together properly

I am left with so many questions. What was the young masters life like, after Hosik passed away? Was he able to be happy with his wife? Did he have any feelings for her, or was it just a marriage of convenience? It just ends with Hosik passing and we dont know what ends up happening to the young master.

Marriage of convenience. And the reason why we won't know what happened to the young master after Hosik's death is because the current Hosik is the one viewing these past memories. Therefore, he wouldn't know about what happened after his past self's death.
The young master never loved her and never would as Hosik was his only love. That was why the wife was jealous and the mother would never send him away. I do wonder what happened after Hosik's death. The young master seemed like the type to either (a) become a living shell or (b) commit suicide along with his love's body.
B seems more likely to me since he doesn't have any attachments to anyone else aside from Hosik. Hosik was the reason he even went on to conceive the child, and as you could see, he wasn't keen on the child's existence because he (the child) was no part of Hosik. His face said it all when looking at the kid and looking at Hosik joyfully hold it.
The past him wanted to be with Hosik and start a family so desperately that when their souls were able to meet again in present time, the otherwise straight him fell in love. Insanely in love.
Will we ever get an update on them? Stories where people travel somewhere else, they never seem to care about their family. lol

No, you don't get it. Dan wanted money. Just money. Dan increased the amount, so Jaekyung should also have the right to add his own terms since Dan is demanding more from him. No coercion there. Just business right there.

I think this is a more nuanced conversation than you’re giving it credit for. I don’t want to downplay the role economic desperation and sexual coercion plays in sex work, but you can’t consider sex work a legitimate job AND say he can’t freely and voluntarily consent because he’s being paid. Kim Dan did not make an uninfluenced choice, but he is an adult who made an informed choice without direct coercion by Jaekyung (who didn’t even know the situation when they made the contract).
Yes, Dr. Dan was going through an economic hardship but sex work was not his only choice and he was not forced into it; he deliberated, he weighed his options, he sought out Jaekyung of his own volition, and even negotiated for almost 3x the monthly salary, before eventually signing the contract. That’s not sexual coercion. (And it’s a much better deal than the vast majority of SW’s get.)
