I know the manga comes out once a year but i can see that some chapters are missing, ofc it takes time for people to translate but the JP verison of vol 16 came out 1st of May

there are lots of possible reasons:
1) their identity is being hidden. it would be weird to see the two kids keep appearing and disappearing
2) the dragon have a trauma bc of humans so he doesnt wanna transform into one and on and hong consider the dragon as their real sibling so theyre staying in their cat forms for him
3) its easier to travel w two cats than w two kids
