so i was re-reading this and i’m kind of grateful to the author for touching on the subject of taehee’s identity as a korean-american, especially because myself and many others in the korean american community have felt exactly the same way as we are excluded or confused because we don’t really know where we belong. not to mention the racism, such as being called a “twinkie” or a “banana” which is a very real thing that has happened to me multiple times when i was younger
