Everybody out here feeling bad for yoonbum (which, is understandable) but hey.. sangwoos parents dun fucked him up. His mom for fucks sake. His mom had post partem depression (most likely) Some women suffer this illness just after childbirth. In most cases, it's just a phase of repulsion and even aggresion towards the child (example- the mom from we need to talk about kevin) But of course, for some women it isn't a phase. Sangwoos mom's been abusing, manipulating him since day 01. He wasn't a born psychopath (unlike kevin). She even went as far as to push sangwoo into murdering his dad (whom he loved) stopped him from calling for the ambulance and any help in general, eventually blaming sangwoo for the entire thing. Not to mention sangwoo still loved his mom, and discovering his mom trying to kill him with those pills (even after he killed his dad for her) increased his stress and paranoia. Then she even went as far as to RAPE her own son. Sangwoos been in that hell for his entire life. Then there's also trauma from watching his parents fuck and his mom cheating at a very young age. Handling that alone is pretty hard for the average 5th grader. After all that, no wonder he snapped. I would've. Then he visualized all women as monsters just like his mom, and hence the killing started. I know sangwoos no less of a monster. Considering the things he's done. But he's also a victim here. And to see him end up like this is extremely tragic.
I think so too, I hate his mum most, she 's the one should have a most painful death. Sangwoo's so pitiful, he's psycho in his own way but for god sake, living with a mother like that, couldn't help that he cannot be normal. Bum 's such a coward.

Yes I agree! I would say sangwoo's mom actually got off easy.. the entire world will only know of sangwoo's brutality now; unseeing his mom's vital role in all of this. This woman deserves some credit for all the bloodbath that went down in that basement
