I just reread this after years and wow reading all the chapters back to back makes how far they’ve come even more obvious. Like when reading it over long period of time can make you miss or forget some details especially because the shift is so gradual so it doesn’t show itself as much but when you read it all at once the difference is HUGE. Honestly at this point senpai is also clearly in love too like he already cared about Mori A LOT since even chapter one but now he is practically smitten. The only thing left is for him to finally admit it to himself.

On chapter two and him saying nice characters are boring and one dimensional is rubbing me the wrong way because doesn’t that just goes to show his lack of skill in writing characters? There are thousands of way you can write a nice character but also give their story depth and nuance. Of course it’s not like this is actually anything important and everyone loves a mean character but still his opinion kind of irked me.
