I’m gonna be honest Buckingham was ok as a love interest but I didn’t really dig it with richard and him. it didn’t feel fleshed out to me. I liked henry and I’m curious to see how he’s gonna return. Anne really deserved a better future with someone that could give the love she always desired. The son is lovely too, I’m sure he’ll be fine on his own road to the world. Richard be kissing almost everyone LOLL I was like dayum even your father and your brother??
I am like you , bucky as a live intest was OK but like you I never felt Richard truly love him ,he was more replacing Henry with him ,I mean when he knew his name was Henry he was like in a trace calling that name. Also he wanted to break up after getting pregnant. Richard was just living a dream he was in a protective bubble crested by Buckingham. But Buckingham death is proof that Richard didn't fully love him. Richard loved three ppl the most and little Ed was one of those too , he loved York but after knowing about him his love vanished, bucky but he betrade him and King Henry which from the three he is the strongest love in the end but still the relationship with Buckingham was him holding it . Buckingham couldn't save Richard, because he was there to make Richard fall to he'll and there relationship was super toxic ,even how it started... I would have liked if there relationship development was normal not how it was drawn . Contract set partners and all of a sudden lover's. And all that happened in 4 months. I don't know I find there relationship forced it was there for sales thats how I see it.
Yes you completely took the words out of my mouth! I also feel their relationship was used for comfort especially for Richard. I mean it basically has been directly told. The sexual scenes and the sense of touch was needed in order for Richard to stay sane and Buckingham picked up on that and knew it was a way to tame Richard. Richard was getting too reliant on Buckingham and it was not a very good sign. Buckingham lost his sense of goal on the way and was willing to throw everything away just to keep Richard in his arms, but more like a cage tbh. I agree their relationship wouldn’t have been any healthier if it continued.
Yea the cage scene or more prisoner in the tower, and how he wished Richard to live with him a chained woman having his kids and lives in a place abanded by everyone -_- also what I didn't like how his jealousy played ,treating catseby bad and mostly how he used James knowing is king Henry-_- the ending plan is his but I think after meeting Richard Henry changed it . That's how I think.
I really wish mc could fight her own battles sometimes. Author couldve picked one which is her being goddamn dense but she had to put all the traits i find annoying with shoujo mc. Maybe theres a fic somewhere which done her character justice

Now perceive this as an example as to not have children just because your partner does. Maybe you will grow to love them but in most cases like this, it’s safe to not just do it. It’s awful. Not only does this make it worse for the children who are probably neglected and ignored, it doesn’t usually end well. Children need love, if you are so obvious to show you don’t want to give them what they need to be in a good environment then just don’t have children.
