I agree with some previous reviewers before me. You can blatantly see author's values of life and such in this story. The characters are American but how they solve the problem or how they view the problem are influenced by author's view. Author still sees porn film production as something disgusting and dirty. You can see this in how Creed address the problem. The author didn't even let Creed address how people felt used by his actions. They didn't let Creed solve that crucial aspect. Freedom of agency is crucial, JMD. This author introduced that briefly as a tool to create conflict. But tossed it away when the right moment is presented.
I mean so far Creed's porn film production didn't include trafficking, didn't have drug abuse, didn't have non consenting actors (except Ryan's time because of the biography), and no prostitution either. Also all shoots are taken by actors' consent. His porn film production is much much cleaner than the real thing in life. Creed's is like home made porno but with more money and crew. But the author deems that production is dirty, all in that production is dirty. It's dirty coz it doesn't follow the values that author holds so dear.
Please step down from your effing high horse, JMD.
Also yeah the villain is a black man. That's effing colorism and racism. Also about Jennifer, why does effiminate man equal to stupidity?
This story maybe seems progressive but actually it's not. I'm disappointed. Sorry.

Chang's action didn't create catastrophe and only influencing some of Yeowoon's choices. Meanwhile the article of "Creed Schreiber = Glen McQueen" jeopardised and became the main conflict that brought story to its climax. This is why I categorize the person caused the jeopardy as the villain. (The writer of that article is most likely that black journalist).

My expectation was higher. They had pitiful life both of them but I only can sympathize with Masataka. Sakai annoyed me and this kind of trope "I r@ped you coz I want you uwu" should send themselves to outer space. He made bad decisions and that parting could be avoided actually. But he's a dumbass. He said oh Masataka you teach my to forgive myself. But actually he didn't forgive his own self. He loved to torture his own fkn self. Why let go your happiness fuckward? Or maybe Watase Yuu didn't have any better alternative that time. Or maybe she thought ayy better end this with angst.
Sorry for sounds like trashing your favorite. Published works sometimes have meh quality compared to fanworks.

Tbh, I have high expectation since I'm reading comments such as rollercoaster emotions and so and so, but yeah, it's meh. All of it is a meh. The only thing that made me cry was just when masataka's brother died, other than that, I just skip almost everything cause it's too long. Even the ending is just meh.

Truly. Mintwood has chapter 4 translated already. But in Indonesian. It's wholesome. Go to their site.

One of newest characters (the snake named Issei) has dashed line connected to another male Madarame. Probably this is the dude we saw chapters ago during Kunimasa's test. As far as I know Japan is using patrilineal system. So compared to Kunimasa, Issei has more right to be Madarame's head. Probably this is why Makio tricked both Yoshi's & Masa's dads, to get male heirs. Or maybe the male Madarame is the birth mother so Issei can't be a Madarame coz of the patrilineal system.
Or maybe I'm reading too much into something that can be considered as program error. Anyway, vol. 9 is kinda like fillers. It doesn't explain how Norio gets back together with Masa and VB's case, Makio's dad.

after reading thorough summary from @/nuttyalmondz here http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/6761303/ There's a criteria for breaking curse from certain someone: "giving up something you really want".
Horus is not a god yet right? And he doesn't have the Eye of Horus (Ra's eye "make up"). I mean what if this manhwa webtoon brings us too Angstlandia for: Horus giving up Seth even though Seth can't go to Duat, so Horus can be a God.
Can anyone who knows Egyptian mythology give us insight what happen to Seth after his battle with Horus? Did people still worship him? (=・ω・=)
Different question for general audience because I get something interesting from another webtoon about gods: if no one worship a god anymore or all their temples demolished, will the god disappear? Has it been described in Ennead's previous chapters? Thanks.

True, he won't coz if I'm not mistaken Horus chose to help Seth. Or something like that. So give up on Seth seems almost impossible.
If both of them are ruling peacefully, a common enemy is needed to make story progressing. Probably those Greek gods or the Romans during their occupation. Or give it more time it'll be the Abrahamic religions, even though I doubt it.
and found this story was a parallel of 1001 nights, didn't disrespect any religion, told us about love and a healing process come from love, and wholesome. Truly heartwarming.
In case anyone wonders: assalamu'alaikum is a greeting just like hello but it contains a pray; coz its literal meaning is (may) peace be upon you. And as how smartly Okadaya-sensei portrayed it at the last chapter: both Aoi and his father were finally at peace.
