No, the one who is perceived to be Jesse was never a jerk. It seems pretty clear to me that Jesse was referring to something that he wanted done to HIMSELF, while Law was arguing against it but probably not because he actually cared about what happened to Jesse but because he thought Jesse was being 'inefficient' or something like that.

Well, there is the fact that Jesse apparently had some illness so I don't understand the confusion but, ah, well.
When I first read this manga there were many chapters already up. I was not thrilled at all with how the seme raped the uke. Made me sick.
Later on I was even more upset that once again the uke falls in love with him.
Now I kept reading afterwards just trying to forget the early parts of the manga because the relationship between the two is really cute.
BUT! With the latest chapters I at last got what I wanted! I got my conclusion!
Our Seme understanding his sick past became a man and apologized. Now because they have been together for a while and love each other, the acceptance is something I knew would happen.
I now conclusion on the earlier part of the manga that I HATED!
So even though i still feel like I'm accepting something bad, I will say that due to the length of the manga and the character development I know it's the best thing to do, to accept it.

So our hero hit his first love and it ended things. They don't see each other for half a year, half a year after it ended, and his ex shows up with a stronger boyfriend who beats the shit out of the guy.
It's totally clear that the little bitch uke is only using the new boyfriend and only wants the hero to take him back!

I feel sorry for the other guy. He's being used. Instead of the uke getting over one hit, one, he wasn't abused, he was hit once. The seme was upset about it and the broke up because of it right after. He left because he felt bad about it and would rather stay away. But no the ex gets a new boyfriend, and then they both go looking for the seme because he hit him once, only to have the shit beat out of him.
