Spoilers!!!

Here's the thing. I started the first few chapters ages ago then got into the live action adaptation and loved it cause they kind of grasp and portrayed the characters perfectly. In comparison I'll have to say that it's interesting how both dynamics work differently.

In the manhwa Sangwoo is someone who has never experienced anything like this before. Seeing a relationship as something that eventually would lead to marriage as society usually envisioned while he didn't understand the purpose of engaging in something like that with a guy was interesting to read. There were times when he was opening and sharing his thoughts that let us see that he has a different way to show how he cares or how he struggles to understand his own emotions. They kind of implied at some point that he might have been considered asexual while he could be in the spectrum.

Now as the constant moments of him running away scared to face the reality or confront a situation I can say that it might be because of the age, assuming he's around 20. But also is kinda frustrating cause it shows how difficult he has at times to communicate.

It was fascinating seeing him engage in a physical relationship with jaeyoung. And getting bothered by that possessiveness, jealousy and the attachment without really understanding what was going on. I wish there were times when he would go and talk things with him and not jaeyoung being the one to do that. Also I was kinda shocked with the whole bar, hickey and make out with that random guy. I mean they weren't la labeling their relationship but still felt kind of shocking.

Jaeyoung seemed to be as playful as I thought he would be. But one thing I noticed is how unconsciously romantic and fool he was for sangwoo. Him seeking a reaction out of him, wanting some sort of affirmation was kinda cute at times to read. But there were times when he felt kinda pushy, rush and shoulf could it down but I'm glad he did tried to make amends and apologize.

Now the relationship itself. I'll say that I love how intimate it was depicted, it had spiciness without being overly explicit. It's interesting how it startee as an attraction mix with curiosity and lust but both tried to make sure they enjoyed it. Even sangwoo did his research although it was kinda far for a first timer with a guy . In terms of them as a couple they do need to work on their communication, talk things without getting so work up or keep things for themselves (wasn't so bad compared to some other bl stories).

Didn't felt long but I wish we could've see them interact more with their families, getting to know them a little bit more. Cause us having jaeyoung litte back story and then never use it again, felt kinda like a waste. As for sangwoo it was mostly with flashbacks.

Now I love the romanticism and changes they made in the live action. They were more out spoken, and even did the little dating trial and sangwoo had to make a decision. He had more choices but also loved how they adapted some key moments from the story. Anyways it was a good read.
