to be honest ive never been so conflicted because of a manhwa in my entire life, because I simply just cant love or hate this LMFAJSKADJJVJ but all I can come to a conclusion with is that I love Nilla, and hate Rosamund. some people may find Lucio's character development strange but tbh when the most toxic people are out of your life it is possible to go through such drastic change. Whereas he was emotionally manipulated and taken advantage of by Rosamund, id say she was the one pulling all the strings and pulling wool over Lucio's eyes. well yeah in general I dont particularly like Lucio, but I can empathize with him and his trauma.
tbh I never knew id be so ivested in a bl. I watched the donghua, reread the manhua and the novel. I do recommend reading the novel first since it clears up some of the confusion in the manhua :0 but omg im not ready for a-qing's arc to be animated, I remember crying a lot when I read it in the novel
