im so glad that ines is starting to find herself and that her focus is shifting from the schemes. she is aware that what she's doing is hurting carcel, but she couldnt see "love" much after being abused for the entirety of her first life. her past was utterly brutal and life wasn't in her best interest. recovery from not one, but two traumatic lives takes a heart and soul and it was clear that she was seemingly emotionally unavilable for so long just so that she could focus on survival. Her gradual realization had begun when she started to regard carcel's feelings a lot more, which we all loved to see. Its so funny how much we've all grown to love carcel this much, and so have i.

Despite the art change i still find the backstory well written and executed. plus, I'm glad that we had an artist take over instead of having no artist at all even if it meant the styles had to be different. we'll see when time progresses,, as always, trust the process.
