This hit way too close to home; the push for heteronormativity and feeling pressured to do it just to please your family but feeling angry towards them for pushing you to be something your not is something I imagine one too many people experience on a day to day basis. I know for a fact that Asian culture is very family oriented and that the expectations of the children to live according to how their parent's demand, my own culture is similar enough that I felt YuYang's pain.
To all those that don't fit your parent's ideologies and expectations, know that you're fulfilling mine and that I'm proud of you. Send me the adoption papers, I'll be your parent now.

this chapter made me realize how scared yohan must've been when soohwa first told him that he get's hot because of his voice... like he literally had to face his trauma just to make sure that something like the byung situation didn't happen so , ignoring his own feelings, he pleasured soohwa.
