I love the wait, i love how the romance didn't just pop out of nowhere (like other yaoi is like) and that they're reasonable lovers. Most importantly I LOVE HOW THEY POINTED OUT THAT PARENTS ARE ALSO FUMBLING ABOUT WITH THIS GENDER ISSUE. coming out is not something easy to accept, it may take some time and there may be faults in dealing with it, but our parents are humans as well. And even though they're adults, it's not like they always know what to do. In addition to them also harboring weaknesses, being open and upfront is not something everyone can do. You can't just brand anyone as evil just cause they didn't do what you expected them to!

This way he would be completely destroyed with island and no one would think to sreach for a body on abandoned island. At least that's how I understand it.

I'm actually glad about ML's brother's character. Some antagonists are just twisted for the sake of being twisted, but he is not evil to the core. Their whole family has fallen victim for that accident and took their own paths of suffering. But I like how ML accepted everything in the end, not blaming anyone and not brooding about whether it was right or wrong. It is what it is, it seems it actually didn't result to the best outcome so just move on to make a better one. Truly, ML is an exceptional man. Brother was weaker, but that's not exactly a sin. Same goes for the parents. So there's actually nothing to hate, just shows how human they are (and how exceptional ML is lol)
