I'm the parent... Lol! My little one often asks what I'm reading, I tell him my adult books, you can't because they're too scarey for you right now. He totally believes me... My mom has bought me yaoi as a gift before, not sure if she knew the content or just that it was a title I wanted. Either way I don't think she would care haha

I AM the parent, and I read it all the time. I make sure that I'm alone when reading any M/18+ ones...but I'll read softer BL/yaoi right on the desktop pc in the livingroom for anyone to see. My teenagers have no problems seeing different gender roles or sexuality portrayed in any kind of media because I raised them thinking that that love is more ......
