I feel like someone's memory has been changed or altered after their death, whether it's the fls or the mls, because both their memories doesn't align to me. In the ml's memory he looks like a sweet and doting husband (he even remember the small details that the fl likes and dislikes, especially in the novel) but in the fl's memory he doesn't. Or is the ml just delulu?
That would be an interesting plot point. But I also assume there might have been a culture misunderstanding or lack of communication. ML was a lot more reserved and hidden with his affection while all MC saw was his forcefulness. Shes often asleep when he shows affection. And due to the miscommunication, and probably different love languages, she got fed up by not feeling the love he was giving. I'm assuming he's actions of service, maybe even a twisted quality time? And shes words of affirmation. But we'll see how it plays out. They're going to have to address this eventually. Tampered memories would be fun!
