Tbh I like viatt more than the MC. MC is like the heroine in an otome game where she seduce men (fiancée, magician, knight etc) like a white lotus & even worse dat she’s manipulating them all except for the ML. However I don’t hate MC since I can understand her view dat she can’t love anyone except the ML but it still sucks dat she only manage to get thro coz everyone love her whereas viatt only have 2 people on her side. Viatt is like a villainess & her backstory make sense y she hates MC. Even tho viatt is the daughter of her father, he cheated on her mother who went crazy & brought in his mistress & daughter. He never gave his first daughter any affection even tho she wanted his love & it was his fault for cheating & causing her misery. But still viatt didn’t give up & decided to become the heir to protect her family name. Even tho the queen hated her she managed to raised the family honor by herself & she found someone she luv and can only protect him if she was the heir, making more reason y she wanted to be the heir. Viatt also has the experience and skill to lead her people into battle unlike the MC. But viatt goal to be the heir was unluckily taken by the MC causing her hatred to grow more. MC basically took away everything meaningful to viatt accidentally & all her hard work as well just coz she was lucky. Whilst I don’t hate MC since I understand both side of the story I can’t help but love & want to root for viatt since she never gave up & is constantly working hard to protect the people she luv even tho fate is against her
