I think they do it so that ppl who did not read the manga could know bout it. I came to know bout it through this update. At first i also used to get pissed wen they sent out false update reports but now im glad coz like ppl r not missing out on this good stuff. (=・ω・=)

maybe, that's a good positive spin on this. yes there are a bunch of classic stories that get lost in the massive list we have here. this is one of the first authors I ever read for yaoi

yeah I hope this is a signal to Kiev to move on and find his own path to happiness. I guess helping Conor was the start, I'd like to see him resign at T-Rex eventually when Simon does and move on with his life and find someone special. I would actually LOVE to see his story in the future

I think that's part of being a teenager though and feeling misunderstood, Conor's father hated him and so he isolated himself from the rest of the family without explaining to Conor why he did it. As you grow up old wounds from childhood are sometimes hard to mend, especially in this case where they haven't been on good speaking terms for years. I think of course Kiev put it on himself to be alone by ignoring Conor, but it's really a shame since this is a misunderstanding of each other that led to their strife.

even if they didn't talk for years, Kiev still could have come and say "Hi so...I know we don't talk for years and you won't believe me. but I"m not the one making your mom suffer. it's your dad. ok bye" but of course he won't do that, cause why should he bother. and he really isn't muture at all XD Conor is much more "muture" then he does and he want worse things then him.

It is so easy to blame Kiev but just as you said he could have gone to Conor, Conor could have also gone to speak to him if he really was interested in his well-being but he wasn't. Conor is not innocent in their strife no less than Kiev is. Do you remember the part in the story when Conor was telling his story about his mother telling him he and Kiev were not real brothers and from that point he never considered him family after that?

Although I really like Conor that part in the story turned me off big time. How could you just so simply not care about him after growing up together even if he isolated himself later on? If Conor really did care he would have asked many questions to his parents like: "why they (his father/ parents) treated Kiev in a certain way? what did Kiev do to deserve that kind of treatment?" Because he obviously did see how his father treated Kiev but never concerned himself to figure out why until he later found out the truth about them not being real brothers. He could have even shown even more concern by going to Kiev and asking himself what was up with him and his father why he was acting the way he was. But he chose to ignore all of that and just decide to act just like his father and hate Kiev which in turn made Kiev hate him back. I am sure if Conor showed even an ounce more concern and interest to Kiev after finding out they were not real brothers and if he continuously tried pursuing him for answers and the truth Kiev would have told him. But he didn't. Kiev has no obligation to tell him anything if Conor does not show even a bit of interest in finding out. Do you not see how supportive and desperate Conor is when it concerns helping his lover, Simon? He wants to know everything that is going on with Simon during and after their breath-up. EVERYTHING. He could have shown the same courtesy to his cousin who IS STILL HIS FAMILY and was in pain back then because he was not treated as part of the family. Kiev is right when he says that Conor is spoilt.

Of course, I know Conor has gone through a lot of shit too but that does not give him the right to treat his cousin in such a way.

ok a faw things: 1. Conor was very very very young when his father treat Kiev like he's not family. so...yeas, while you like it or not, YOU WILL go with your parents even if it's not make any sense when you very young. you will believe what they tell you!
has for why they grow apart, Conor said that he always felt "something" was wrong. it's not like he was stupid, he did felt like they not "very" connected has a family from the very start but choose to ignore it cause he wanted to love his family and wanted a family together. children are very Sensitive to this kind of thing.
and I think they grow apart from the simple fact that Kiev gave up on his mother(pov Conor even said that how he felt and still feel. he never hated him or didn't see him has a family. but when Kiev left he felt like he wasn't his brother anymore. what does make sense, he was a kid after all!).
it Kiev decision to LEAVE!! not Conor. so you can't blame Conor for Kiev shitty decision's.
and the part Conor never forgive him is the pain of his mother that really break them apart. there is no reason for Conor to want anything with him if he think he FUCKING ABUSE THEIR MOTHER!! are you even for real?!! even I won't forgive that if someone send people to Threat and scaer my mom! even if he was my own family!
the only way is Kiev to act "muture" and tell him the truth what happen, but no. Kiev is not muture enough for that cause of his stupid big ego and pride he need to save. so he don't worth it! he can keep his pride and go his own way ALONE! he have no one to blame but himself.
and the part he think Conor is protected, protected from what?!! from being himself?!! from been Bully every day from young age cause how he was born?!!! Kiev don't even try to understand Conor or want too. he don't care enough for it cause he think he so much "better" instead of acting like a "family" if he really wanted him has his family.
I say it again, Kiev said Conor isn't muture but Kiev act like a fucking prick baby about what Conor love - music. and when Conor come back to Simon, Kiev try to act "cool" like he such a big hero. "I save Simon from been a slut!! I"m such amazing! while I didn't do shit to actually take Simon away from this company" and left Simon that he said "he love" soo much to have sex with "clone Conor" and then dare to say Conor should leave?!!
not to mantion CONOR DID HAVE FUCKING TALENT IN MUSIC!!! that Kiev will always deny cause he want Simon ass! that fucking stupid! it wasn't has big has Simon, but he did have the talent. well before those assholes burn his hands that is. but we can still see how much he love music!!

I completely agree, that was the hugest turn off for Conor, I like him in every other way but that was not cool. He just dismisses Kiev as blood and family and doesn't give an ___ anymore? Too judgemental and was surprising, but everyone has flaws... I am truly disappointed he didn't give Kiev a chance, didn't take the time and try to see his side of the story. He was aware that Kiev and his father had a falling out, and that his father didn't like Kiev. I'm sure he also knew that was the reason Kiev shut himself away but he still continuted to distance himself emotionally from what was happening and ignored Kiev and eventually completely broke ties with him as family, which is really unfair. And he did this with the knowledge that there was some things he didn't know/ his father talked crap about Kiev. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I still love Conor and Simon, but Conor owes Kiev a huge ass apology, though I don't see it coming anytime soon, which is once again sad for Kiev. As a human being, he deserves some understanding and conversation.

As I said you are a child. And I don't want to get in an argument with a child because I've noticed it goes nowhere. You don't even know the full story of what happened between Kiev and Conor's mother. You only think you know what happened from Conor's perspective. But has Kiev's perspective of what really happened ever been shown? No, it hasn't! Instead of thinking about things logically you jump to conclusions because the bottom line is that you hate Kiev. And no matter what I say you will find every reason to continue hating him.

FINALLY. Someone I can have a decent conversation without having profanities thrown left and right in their comment as well as having a full understanding of the story instead of just picking sides and deciding on hating on one character because you like the 'good' character. I love Conor and Simon as well and agree 100% with your comment. What Conor did to Kiev left quite a sour taste in my mouth and my initial impression of him changed a little but it does not mean that I hate the guy. But it does not mean I will condone what he did and continues to do to Kiev.

I seen Kiev pov, even if it was a little. we still yet to be seen more. but it was very clear he did left the family by himself when Conor was young - the drawing of their hands been separated.
I didn't say anything about your words, I only talk about the events in the comic. and at first I didn't hate Kiev, in fact I wanted to root for him but then I seen how much an ass he was while talking to his mother. his rude words and actions just won't let me like him cause he act like a child instead of thinking about Simon and the other people around!

Reread the sentence of 'you a kid' and see that it is grammatically correct. Sometimes I might be a little lazy and slip up on my English but English is my native language. And as I stated before I refuse to argue with a kid that's why I am not answering. If you truly are denying that you are a kid then could you please tell me your age and class if you do not mind? I don't mind telling you mine because even though you tell me I can almost guarantee I have about 10 years, if not more years, on your age.

Yeah, I find it weird that the author penned Conor's thoughts that way, it made him seem close minded, which is the opposite of his character's integrity. I literally raised my brow and said "what..." out loud when I first read it, and for a second pondered on if that was translated incorrectly. In the end, I guess this is just a quite flaw of Conor's, but it goes by so quickly and ignored that it seems that the author doesn't make much of it, which bothers me. All I can hope for is some closure with Kiev, he gets pushed around by everyone as a bad guy and is left alone. Simon needs to give him an apology too, not just think it. I know he didn't say anything when he was depressed, but now that his life is gluing back together he could at least say sorry for the drugged up hook up and seducing you when I know about your feelings, then pretending I didn't hear you ask to come on vaca with me. Anyway all in all a lot of events/ sad circumstances for Kiev's life just pass by and I don't see any resolution thus far.

Exactly! Everyone is claiming Kiev is a bad guy but I think he is just misunderstood. While many choose to ignore what Conor did because he is the main character and everybody loves him and chooses to ignore it and so they hate on Kiev. But why? Because as the story stated but people seem not to quite get it that "As long as people are ignorant and have someone to hate, it doesn't matter who it is, we will never move forward as humans/ people." But people in the comment section seem to be missing that underlying message in the story.

to be real for a sec, a part of it is probably he's not the most genericly attractive guy. if he was a sad soul hottie (some) people would defend him more. Just shave the stash Kiev! it ages you, stashes ain't for everyone... he has a special place in our hearts and that's what matters ... :) and the amount of upvotes I have on feeling sorry for Kiev, looks like some of us care, but the story moves on and leaves him as a side character with no resolution, so fingers crossed.... can we please find Kiev a nice man to fall in love with and settle down, he and Conor can make amends and their future adopted kids can play together.
