Don't get me wrong. He was complicit and never cared until she was gone and now she isn't part of the family in his mind but just a "background character" (could be his mind showing that she isn't actually part of the family and won't be, even if he wants her to), but he has been reflective and is starting to understand just how badly they fvcked up. That's a pretty good start. It's also great that he wants to go the extra mile (hur hur, pun not intended but appreciated) and visit her, to reconnect. He still is showing his old behavior (ignoring her autonomy and "forcing" the return on her), but no one should expect a perfect 180° sprint to the finish line right from the start. Especially if you see how his parents still behave.
I hope that those two actually reconnect, because Karina deserves a family member that tries and the father gets slapped by reality

How cute. I like this pair (=・ω・=) It would have been better if they got more development, but I kinda like that their only problem is major miscommunication and not a GIANT RED FLAG.
I am also no fan of coffee, but this made me crave it. Which is kinda hard to achieve, because I have been working in a gelato shop with great coffee but I still couldn't warm up to it. I can only enjoy it with a ton of milk, a scoop of ice cream and some hazelnut syrup.

I think that is still enjoying coffee in your own way. I don't think you need to drink straight black coffee or espresso to be able to enjoy coffee. I say this as a person who has worked in coffee extensively. From being a barista, to a bartender, to working in a roastery, to working as an espresso machine technician, to a trainer. And coffee in itself is an acquired taste and most people forget that bc it's so normal in today's society. If the only way for you to enjoy is with ice cream or as a frappuccino then by all means, don't let anyone make you not enjoy your treat.

Same, but I'm even worse when it comes to coffee. Even with a bunch of sweeteners, just the hint of coffee makes me dislike the drink.
I also absolutely hate the smell of coffee. Coffee almost smells like burning garbage to me, and gives me a headache if I'm around the smell for too long.
I keep wondering if MC will meet her final boss, which is somebody like me, who just can't like coffee no matter what MC does and is even turned off by the smell of it.

While I love the smell and can't agree with you there... Fair. Taste and scent are very subjective.
If there will be an endboss (I do guess it will be the ones she has "insulted" until now like her family and the advisor), I do hope they are called Muffin Queen, because it kinda fits the theme (=・ω・=)

You know what. I like it. I don't think they should be a couple, but as far as secondary love interests go, Nadia is pretty dope. There are sometimes is she/isn't she lesbian/bisexual love interests in manwha and manga, but it's not directly said or they are kinda "shy" and then don't come forward (I guess a way to keep it vague, so some *specific* readers can ignore it). But the author had the chance to try a dynamic with a gender-neutral character with a different cultural background and they took it. Sure she is just a secondary love interests and they could have actually explored that route more (gaining experience in dating, different approaches as Nadia is pretty direct, deeper dive into the societal norms, etc.), but that might make the story too messy.
But the sexy mermaid/-man is hardcore spouse material. I value loyalty and trust more than love and lust in a relationship, so I wouldn't divorce either, but DAMN (╯°Д °)╯╧╧. I kinda respect Abi for saying strong. Nadia is so flavourful next to the ML (he ain't bad, and I like that his trauma was actually explored and not just girlfriend-therapist-savior fantasy material... But he has been a bit bland for some time now, they should give him some hurdles to work on)

... We need to bring "My body, my choice into this, because some of you don't get it. First of all, I understand his decision. I'd also rather pick my wife and not the fetus. That doesn't make it right tho. Bodily autonomy is a damn important right and it can't be ignored, because some people see life itself as the highest good. In any other medical scenario, his actions would be a nightmare. She specified her wishes and he ignored them. If I couldn't trust that my Partner would respect my wishes and put them above theirs in a moment of my absolute weakness, they wouldn't be my partner.
And that also includes risking death, as harsh as that sounds

I've decided to go on a purge and I'll delete bookmarks that make me increasingly groan. I liked BJ Alex, which is why I had some hope for this one, but my dude... The seme is a Fläming (that was an autocorrect, but I kinda like it so I'll keep it) piece of hot azz (to whoever the artist is: that carried the manwha for me until now) and the cutie potato can't be the saving grace here. I'll drop it. I'd stay for granny, but it feels like her death will be used as an emotional catalyst for them becoming an item and I won't deal with that. She'll be in my memories with her pretty shawl

I will drop this faster than a hot ass potato if he doesn't end up dead. It has been enough. I feel like Atlas holding my shlt together. We've been so╭∩╮ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ╭∩╮ close to this romance manwha becoming truly unique by killing the toxic male lead and yet my girl Rowena backtracked. Just do it. Don't let my dreams be dreams. Pull the trigger and end my suffering. You gotta pick up the shlt in your life and throw it away, or your bound to slip in it.
If someone has spoilers to offer, I'll take them. At least I wouldn't waste my damn nerves on hot garbagé.

Outside of this being a romance and family oriented manwha, I do love this side story with Kyla. It is definitively sad, but it carries quite the strong theme. Living with your passion right until the end. The mural was probably done with the bare minimum, but it shows just how much Kyla loved to draw. Alone, in a desolate hospital but with her art.
She also shows how Mildred's daughter would have ended without her family supporting her. But at the same time her Art is now something that helps people. It brought money to the family and her mural is part of the hospital with the headstrong nurse. Such a sweet detail
Ahhhh. That feels way too good.
Also what a dick to assume that Chloe will be in "the depths of hell". That's your destination my dude. Down the pole you go, while she gets the stairs
He doesn't assume that tho, in the chapter he considers offing himself to join her but realises he wouldn't be able to, because he'll go to hell while she's in heaven (his thoughts)
learn how to read lmao
calm down lol
